Many people say that death is the end of a person's life. But, one death made me realize that, death is not only the end of life for a person but also the beginning of change in the lives of the people around them.
Michael Jackson was an ordinary person............................... An ordinary person with extraordinary talents. If you ask me whether I'm posting this because I am a fan of MJ, I would say NO. It's because I wanna express my feelings about the loss of a great artist and show my respect to a good human being.
Whenever I say I'm not his fanatic, some of my friends will sarcastically reply, "Yeah, sure. You ain't no fanatic. You're a LUNATIC!". 'Coz after his death, I've gone crazy and I keep on jabbering about his wonderful talent, his music, his dance, his humanitarian efforts, etc., etc., etc. Some people even think that I've become his fan only now.But that's not true.
My passion for his perfomance dates back to 2003. Ironically, that was the year when the world's most successful pop icon faced his worst downfall in personal life - the child molestation case. There was something deep within me telling me that he wouldn't have done anything of that sort. And I was proved right (after trials, heartbreak and a great deterioration in Michael's health) after 2 years.
His sudden death came as a rude shock to me as I was one of the millions of fans who were expecting him to perform at the O2 arena. But his personal life was what shocked me even more. Before his death, I knew only about his incredible talent. But after his death, I started doing a little research(?!) on his personal life. Thanks to the websites Wikipedia, Youtube and Mjfanclub, the news channels CNN, BBC and Headlinestoday and the special commemorative edition of Times, I came to know a great deal about him. I felt so guilty for misunderstanding him so far due to the media speculations. He was not only The King Of Pop, he was The King Of Controversies and Speculation. As far as I know, no other human being has been intimidated so badly. It's a shame that the lips which accused him while he was alive are praising him after his death.
PREJUDICE IS IGNORANCE.
- Be Yourself: Who else can make millions of people cry by a single on-stage perfomance, yet be shy of the spotlights.
- Be Optimistic: Who else can handle an early fame, a strict father, a love failure, a nose fracture, millions of crazy fans, vitiligo, an unstable marital life, three very little kids and a lot of debt with a smile on their face.
- Never Lose Hope: Who else can sign up for 50 on-stage perfomances with a really pathetic, drug dependent health.
- Follow Your Dreams: He did!!!
- Love: This is the most important of all. Love yourself and each and everything around you.
He changed my ideas about life.
Now I'm just returning the favour, changing the false ideas about him.
Before he became The Greatest Entertainer of all times,Now I'm just returning the favour, changing the false ideas about him.
Before he became The King Of Pop,
Before he became A Successful Solo Artist,
Before he became A Small Wonder in the Jacksons 5,
Before he became even a singer,
He was a Good Human at Heart.
And that why I like him.
His Music Will Live Forever
